This series honors the divine feminine force that has been worshipped since ancient times. Kundalini energy is often represented by a serpent and is regarded as a feminine sexual energy when awakened. This energy was symbolized by various serpent goddesses to indigenous people all over the world. Touches on duality of nature, how destruction is necessary in order to rebuild. Symbolism is sprinkled throughout to illustrate these ideas.

Dominican Palos are regarded as indigenous to the land, but today those that are staying true to Palo roots are slowly fading away as D.R. is becoming more westernized over time. Palo music and dancing is a crucial, spiritual and central part of the culture. The mainstream music that appeals to the majority of young hispanics born in America today is also important to the culture.

As vice-president of the organization, Only Passion Thrives, I had the pleasure to collaboratively organize and promote these events. I also took the photography and produced the promotional video shown in this project.

I organized this fashion show to showcase MOZAIKS' summer collection. Apart from organizing the event, I also photographed it, promoted it and designed all of the promotional material.

I organized the opening segment of this fashion show which featured FOB apparel including booking DJ BIG CEASAR from Boston' s JAMN 94.5 and KISS 108.0 radio station.
